Donation Refund Policy
Effective Date: July 2026
Giving Hands Uganda is committed to using every donation responsibly to support our charitable programs and beneficiaries. We appreciate the generosity of our donors and strive to ensure every contribution is processed securely and accurately.
Donations
All donations made to Giving Hands Uganda are voluntary and are used to support our programs and operations in accordance with our mission.
Refund Requests
If you believe your donation was made in error, duplicated, or processed incorrectly, please contact us within 14 days of the transaction.
Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.
Non-Refundable Donations
Donations may not be refundable where:
- The funds have already been allocated or disbursed to charitable programs.
- The donation was made voluntarily and no processing error occurred.
- The request is made more than 14 days after the donation without exceptional circumstances.
Fraudulent Transactions
If you suspect unauthorized use of your payment method, please contact your card issuer immediately and notify Giving Hands Uganda so we can investigate.
